Vampric Summit Hammer of Warding [Purple]

It takes away 1HP each second, and doesnt allow me to regen, but with damage like that,

I like that hammer, nice nice.
My weapons aren't 'super' nice, but I like them alright.

My first is the Ithas bow that I got from pre-order dyed black. (too bad the actual model in game didn't take to the dye 'at all'... -_-)

My second is a new addition I just picked up, it's an Insightful Holy Staff of Fortitude, not bad stats. Highly salvagable... should I salvage it for materials? ^-^ ehh, i'll hold onto it for now. Blasts a fireball at the enemy, you can see a glimce of it in the screenshot.

the only thing I don't like about the Vampiric weapons is that they take YOUR health away!

do the bows with the unique appearance only take on the appearance if it is a gold rare item? and are they drop only...I once saw a light green bow that had rings of lightning travelling up the entire bow

dang, nice weapons all, i have a zealous sword of defense, it has a purple name, 14-20 damage and +1 energy regain on a hit and -1 energy regen. My dream weapon is a 15-22 rare cruel fellblade of fortitude.

The staves and wand I found are so ridiculous. The mix of skill bonus are combinations no one would ever have. I guess I shouldn't consider this "awesome" :/

HoH dropped a 19-35 Musset Hammer earlier for a friend, we haven't iden't it yet as he's a sword guy.

Let me guess something... The Yellow items are very rare drops and the Purple items are the Legendary Drops I guess?

Had no luck with those color items yet... not out of Ascalon so that's maybe why! :P

Anyone had luck with Shields and Wands of a Yellow or Purple Quality?
